Do you have a salvage vehicle and you want to safely put it back on the road?
There is an important process to follow when rebuilding a salvage vehicle, we’re here to help keep it clear and ensure safety is the number one priority.

In no way, is this a formal “To-Do” list for the process of rebuilding a vehicle, this is simply a guide.
STEP 1: READ the entire Structural_Integrity_Process_Guideline.pdf
STEP 2: Book an appointment with us, or document every aspect of the vehicle, before beginning any repairs whatsoever. More pictures of the damaged areas, the better.
STEP 3: Repair all the damaged areas in accordance to the original manufactures specifications and ICAR Standards. It is highly recommended a Qualified Auto Body and Collision Technician performs the repairs. Documentation of the repair process is required for us, especially for major repairs. ANY undercoating or rust preventative coatings on repaired areas will result in a fail.
STEP 4: Getting your required documents in order.
Document 1: You will need to provide the registration paper, in your name, with “vehicle status: salvage”.
Document 2: Passed wheel alignment printout, with VIN and mileage.
Document 3: Any and all invoices, parts receipts and coloured photos, printed out will help ensure the legitimacy of the repairs.
STEP 5: Book your inspection with us.
Once your invoice has been paid and your vehicle has passed our inspection process. We will provide you with the remaining documents for your Autoplan Broker to file to ICBC.
“CVSE0013- Private Vehicle Inspection” This is the full mechanical inspection form.
“CVSE0031- Body Integrity Inspection Report”
“CVSE0032- Structural Integrity Declaration Report”
If your vehicle passed, we will provide these documents to you, and keep copies in our files.
STEP 6: Go to your Autoplan Broker with all your documents. The Broker is required to site (view) the VIN on the physical vehicle in person.
We are not required by law to conduct or accept any inspections, we will turn away any vehicle which still has damage and fail any vehicle which has not been repaired properly.
